How to carry out a patch repair: A patch needs to be laid by placing a circle of material on top of the hole. This patch must be a circle as an object with no corners is very difficult to peel back.
- 1) New draw round it with a pencil.
- 2) Now paste the inside of the circle you have just drawn evenly and lightly.
- 3) Then paint the back of the circular patch with a small brush.
- 4) Now wave the patch around in your hand until its started to dry.
- 5) When its tacky but not wet to touch, you place the patch ontop of the circle you have juts drawn.
- 6) Now rub the patch outwards from the patches centre.
- 7) Take particular care at the edges of the circle.
- 8) Wait for the patch to dry (minutes is usually enough) and your good to go!
