The inflatable barrier was the concept of a local company looking for a lightweight system to replace the 4 arctic wagons of hay bails, visqueen and other weighted products.
The idea was that we provided a 1.5ft barrier that was robust enough to withstand an impact, durable enough to withstand a crash and lightweight enough to be transported with ease and as such, The inflatable barrier system was worn.
The system itself is relatively simple with an air feeder tube at either end of the barrier. It also features a velcro run around each end so that it can be extended at a later date with a simple Velcro wrap. The track is made from a thick PVC treated with anti fungicides and an easy wipe formulation maximising longevity of the product and minimising maintenance.
The barrier would suit those in the Soap Box or downhill race injury and can be manufactured in a range of sizes, shapes and heights.
