06 May 22 - Blank manufacturer tags!

As of 2022, Betterbounce Direct now fills in all relevant data on our inflatables to ensure maximum safety for our customers. In the past, we provided blank tags with our inflatables for several reasons.

One of the reasons is that some of our inflatables may stay on the shelf for over a year and, when sold, would appear to be older than they actually are. To avoid this issue, we leave the tags blank to avoid customer complaints. Additionally, our products are shipped all over the world, and foreign customers may prefer to complete the tags in their native language.

Another reason is that our calculations may not always match up with other manufacturers or industry standards. EN14960 training recommends certain user limits for each inflatable, but we believe that some of these limits are incorrect and dangerous. For example, one of our 30x30 clown moonwalks is technically supposed to hold 86 users, which we know is not safe. We cap this at 20 for safety reasons, and we believe that this is the best approach.

We also leave the tags blank because we believe that every operator should have a copy of EN14960 and know how to complete the user tag information. We provide all the necessary information to complete the tags, and we have included an insert in the documents provided with the inflatable. We have a big red warning on this insert stating that the inflatable should not be used until the user tags have been completed to avoid invalidating your insurance.
