☀️ Hot Weather & Inflatables – Don't Panic! Just Plan. ☀️
We’re getting lots of messages, calls and emails about the heat at the moment and its totally understandable But remember, many countries like Spain, the USA, and Dubai deal with far hotter temps year-round, and inflatables still run safely every day.
✅ Here are some practical tips to help you keep things running smoothly:
🌳 Position Smartly – Set up the inflatable in shaded areas where possible, or use natural shade (trees, fences, buildings). Avoid direct sun during the peak heat (usually 12–3pm).
🧦 Recommend Socks & Coverings – A light pair of socks and thin long-sleeved tops or leggings can help prevent hot surfaces from contacting skin directly.
🚫 Don’t Use Water to Cool It – Water seeps inside and becomes a nightmare to dry and clean. Plus, it can make surfaces even hotter by acting like a magnifying glass.
❌ Remember wet inflatables are also an absolute nightmare to dry, costing you and your businesses more unnecessary labour so DO NOT let them wet them.
💧 Hydration & Suncream Are a Must – Common sense still rules: plenty of fluids, regular shade breaks, and sunscreen top-ups for everyone.
⚠️ Cancelling events? Not necessary. Just take precautions, keep an eye on kids, and you’ll be absolutely fine. Hot weather doesn’t mean no fun – just smart play. 🌈
Please stop making this a thing and just crack on with what we've done for the last 50 years. Inflatables are perfectly safe in hot weather.
