Our kit ensures that you achieve the necessary anchorage by drilling and bolting onto hard standing in line with the requirements of EN14960. Here's how it works:

1. Start by inflating the inflatable into position
2. Mark the location of the bolts by pulling the anchors out tight and scratching the surface with a bolt, marker or chalk
3. Repeat this for all anchors
4. Deflate the castle as soon as the power is off and the anchors slacken
5. Drill the floor using the drill bit provided and move the drill up and down to clear the hole of debris
6. Place the washer over the bolt
7. Place the bolt over the anchor D ring point.
8. Tap gently with a hammer until the bolt is in the floor by around 20mm
9. Use the T-bar to screw the anchor bolt down in place - Do not use a drill as you risk over tightening and ruining the grip
10. Please note: Washers in video are 40 mm. DO NOT USE THESE, Only use our BIG washers provided.
11. Please ensure the anchors are pulled tight and the bolt is central to the washers before final securing.
12. Also ensure that it's physically impossible to pull the washer through you anchor rings.
13. Tighten the bolt all the way down to the floor
14. Make sure you do not use a mechanical tools as shown in the video unless you have knowledge and use of a proper torque device as you may over-tighten the bolt and reduce the KN loading of the setup.
15. Inflate the inflatable and check that the bolts and washers have sufficiently held the inflatable in place
16. Test the grip of the anchors in the same way you check peg adhesion in grass and if they are acceptable, your good to go!.

NEVER EVER use these kits unless you have the required knowledge and expertise of the materials you are working with and the ability to test the secure strength once the anchors have been installed.

Please note that it is important to ensure that the bolt system is complete on every anchor and that the surface you drill is suitable to hold the castle in place with a force of 165KN per anchor as per EN14960. If you have any doubts over safety, it is important to walk away.

Most companies typically charge an additional £40 per inflatable hire for bolting, and if there is any worry over the holes, they can simply be filled with mastic. However, the holes quickly fill with everyday residue and self-seal quite quickly, so much so that it's often hard to find them again next year.

We advise that you have sufficient training and are competent in bouncy castle erection and EN14960. With our hardstanding anchor kit, you can be sure that your bouncy castle or inflatable will remain safe and secure during use.
