By offering delivery slots as early as 5 or 6 AM, you tap into a segment of your clientele who are looking for convenient, pre-dawn setups for their children's parties. It's easily around 20% of your clients so really allows for a longer delivery day. Try it!
This means you can start your day earlier and extend your delivery window significantly to squeeze the extra deliveries in. Combine this with late night hire and overnight hire and your literally printing free money.
The Extended Delivery Day: Morning to Midnight
Traditionally, most inflatable hires involve morning deliveries, with the last setup around 1 PM for all-day parties that conclude around 5 PM. However, adding evening and overnight hires can significantly expand your delivery window. By accommodating late-night bookings, you can operate deliveries right upto 4-5 PM without the stress as evening or overnight hires do not come with the same set up pressures of a daytime hire. Its far more common to set up later issue free.
If you have a rolling delivery day from 6 AM to 1 PM (7 hours), adding late-night hires for an additional £30-£40 can extend your operational hours to around 5 PM giving massing delivery capacity. For overnight hires, which typically command higher fees of £50-£60, you can practically eliminate the need for extra vehicles and staff on a busy Saturday for example and simply collect on a quieter Sunday. It's a win-win situation; your clients get extended enjoyment, and you get increased revenue without the logistical headache of pre-dawn collections.
This expanded rolling delivery extends the standard delivery day of 6am-1pm (7hrs) to 6am-5pm (11hrs) and allows for much more earnings with the same resources.
Now you may get lucky and have a few collections in the 1pm to 4pm window to help your day, however most collections start from 5-6pm onwards, maybe even 7pm so generally speaking,your generating lots of extra income for the same resources. Also, if 90% of your collections fall after 5pm, then the same 7hr delivery window takes you upto 11pm making it impossible to achieve collection prior to 7pm anyway meaning your late night hires are generating free income.
As such, the more you can push to late-night hire for an additional £30-£40, the more daily profit you make, especially given it would be impossible to collect anyway in sensible times. without creeping about until midnight or more.
Offering overnight hire allows you to increase this capacity even further by charging £50- £60 extra to alleviate the collection stress thats virtually impossible anyway. its brilliant scheme to generate free cash and we love it.
We then simply sweep all the overnight hires up on the Sunday morning issue free, when jobs are generally more quiet. We can also programme these to be much more efficient routes and save even more expense.

Over 19 years, we've completed over 5,000 overnight hires with just one or two incidents, which is on par with or even lower than the wear and tear from day-only hires. In fact, overnight hires often have benefits such as skipping the late-night crowd during collections, dealing with more cooperative guests the day after, and enjoying better and quicker access.
Moreover, insurance premiums for overnight hires are generally reasonable, so there's no need to worry about astronomical costs.
